Paphos hotels for families of five or six: choose the room first

Start with a room category that accepts your whole party. Almyra and Athena Beach have named connecting-room options for up to six; Elysia Park offers a three-bedroom suite. These solve different problems: hotel services, linked sleeping spaces or a kitchen and separate bedrooms.

Choose the sleeping arrangement before the resort

For five or six people, a hotel search can return two unrelated rooms, a large open-plan room or accommodation with separate bedrooms. Those are not interchangeable. Decide whether children need a connecting door, whether anyone will sleep on a sofa bed and whether the adults need a separate evening space. Enter every guest and each child’s age at the outset: a headline capacity is not a quote for your family.

Almyra: compare a suite with connecting rooms

Almyra lists its Two Bedroom Sea View Suite as sleeping six, with 73 square metres. Connecting Inland View Rooms are another named option, also listed for six. Choose between the shared living space of a suite and the arrangement of linked rooms; do not infer that every ordinary room can be joined. Athena Beach: use the connecting category

Athena Beach lists family interconnecting rooms for a maximum of six and duplex accommodation for up to six. Its one-bedroom family suite is listed for four, so the word suite alone is not enough for a larger family. Request the exact configuration in the booking offer. Two standard rooms with a note asking for a connecting door should not be treated as the same purchase as a confirmed interconnecting category.

Elysia Park: a kitchen and three bedrooms

The Comfort Three Bedroom Suite has a published standard occupancy of six and 120 square metres, with a kitchen, dining/living area and family bathroom. This is a useful alternative when separate bedrooms and meals at your own pace matter more than a conventional hotel room. Layouts and views vary. Extra beds incur charges: base your comparison on the six-person arrangement unless a different configuration is explicitly offered.

Compare the whole week’s cost

Put the same dates, ages, meals and cancellation conditions beside each option. A kitchen may reduce breakfast and snack spending, but it does not make every apartment cheaper. Likewise, a hotel meal plan only adds value if you expect to use it. Include airport transport for the whole party and luggage; the cheapest room can lose its advantage if it creates extra daily journeys.

Make the booking description do the work

Before paying, the offer should identify the room category, number of guests and sleeping arrangement you are buying. Keep that description with the confirmation. If a connecting door is essential, a special-request box is insufficient reassurance unless the supplier confirms it. If a room cannot be offered for your dates and ages, choose another configuration rather than booking fewer guests and hoping to adjust later.
