Venus Beach Hotel: plan your stay
Venus Beach combines a coastal hotel setting with a position beside the Tombs of the Kings area. It is a useful comparison when you want beach and pool time without making every sightseeing day a long excursion.

A good fit for
Couples and families who want the coast and archaeology within the same part of Paphos.
Worth weighing up
The beach is public, and the harbour archaeological park is a separate attraction further south.
Which ancient site is nearby?
Venus Beach is on the coast by Tombs of the Kings, north of the harbour. This is the ancient burial site, not the archaeological park with the famous mosaics near the harbour. Plan each visit separately and use the actual entrance when checking your route. A hotel can be beside the site boundary without being beside its ticket desk. The Old Town is inland and deserves its own part of the itinerary.
Beach time and pool alternatives
The hotel fronts a public sandy beach and has an outdoor pool and a children’s pool, with spa and indoor swimming facilities also listed. Pool time gives you an alternative when sea conditions do not suit your plans. Follow current beach flags and local guidance, and check which loungers or beach services are included with your booking. A beachfront address does not make all facilities on a public beach part of the room rate.
Room categories and family space
Accommodation includes standard, superior and deluxe rooms with different outlooks, alongside family suites. A side-sea view and a front-facing sea view are different choices; compare the description of the room actually available for your dates. Families should look at bedroom separation and the beds for extra guests before deciding on an upgrade. The useful question is how the room will work at bedtime, not just how many people it can hold.
Meals, activities and choosing a package
Different board options allow for more hotel meals or more independent evenings. Tennis, gym and spa facilities add reasons to stay on site between outings, but treatments and selected services may cost extra. Compare the dining basis alongside your expected schedule: a week of excursions uses an inclusive package differently from a week mostly around the pool. Ask about entertainment during your dates if a quiet evening setting is particularly important.
Exploring from the Tombs of the Kings coast
A bus stop outside the grounds offers another transport option, though routes and timetables should be checked for your travel dates. Give the harbour, castle and mosaics a separate day, then return to this part of the coast. For a beach change, Coral Bay is further north. If you book an organised trip, confirm the pickup point instead of assuming the hotel entrance and the nearest road stop are interchangeable.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Compare the room, not just the hotel.
Compare the precise room view, family sleeping layout, board basis and any spa charges. Check the hotel’s operating dates and current transport options if travelling outside the main holiday season.
