Queens Bay Hotel: plan your stay
Queens Bay puts the sea at the centre of the holiday, with gardens running down towards a small bay. Choose it for a coastal base between Paphos and Coral Bay, rather than for stepping straight into either centre every evening.

A good fit for
Couples and families who want pool and seaside days with occasional trips along the coast.
Worth weighing up
The setting is between the main visitor centres, so your transport plans matter as much as the room view.
Kissonerga coast, not central Paphos
Queens Bay is on the coastal side of Kissonerga, north of Chloraka and south of Coral Bay. The village and the waterfront are different starting points, so use the hotel pin when arranging a taxi or choosing a restaurant. Make a harbour visit one outing and a Coral Bay beach day another. Trying to treat both as the immediate neighbourhood will give you an unrealistic picture of the location.
Choose the outlook as well as the room
The room range includes inland views, sea views and family accommodation. A balcony is useful for a slow start or a break before dinner, but the outlook depends on the category booked. Compare an inland family room with the exact sea-view option available for your party, rather than assuming an upgrade keeps the same sleeping arrangement. Put every guest’s age into the search before comparing prices.
What a day at the hotel can include
Outdoor pools, a children’s pool, a fitness room and a playground give you several reasons to stay close. The gardens lead towards the bay, while the pool terrace offers another way to enjoy the coast without going down to the beach. If easy access to the water is essential, ask about the route and surfaces between your room, the pool and the shore; a sea view alone cannot answer that.
Meals and evenings away
Cassiopia is the hotel’s main restaurant, and there are bar facilities for time around the property. Decide how many evenings you want to spend here before selecting a meal plan. A few independent meals can add variety, but check their actual location: a restaurant in Kissonerga village may involve a different journey from one on the coastal road. Arrange the return before committing to a late dinner elsewhere.
Making this base work without a car
A car gives you flexibility, but the decision should follow your itinerary. For a week split between hotel days and a few booked outings, compare the cost of transfers and local journeys first. Check current bus stops and services for your dates, including the route back. For a Blue Lagoon excursion, choose a listing that explicitly covers pickup in this area rather than assuming all Paphos hotel pickups include Queens Bay.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Compare the room, not just the hotel.
Confirm the hotel’s operating dates for an out-of-season stay, the room’s view and occupancy, and how you will reach your planned evening restaurants. Arrange airport transport separately unless your booking explicitly includes it.
