A DAY OF SLIDES & POOLS
Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark
Make this your splash-filled day in Paphos: faster slides when you want some excitement, a lazy river when you want to slow down, and a separate water-play area for younger children. Aphrodite Waterpark is in Kato Paphos, off Poseidonos Avenue, so it works as a dedicated outing from a seafront hotel.

What a day here looks like
The park combines water slides with a wave pool, swimming areas and a lazy river. You can mix the bigger rides with quieter stretches of the day instead of following a tour group or a fixed sequence of stops. Younger children have their own area with smaller slides, a pirate ship and a Mini Wet Bubble. That gives families options beyond the larger rides. Check the rules for each attraction before joining a queue; an admission ticket does not mean every ride suits every visitor.
Make room for a full outing
Our suggestion is to keep the rest of the day light. Allow time for changing, lunch and breaks as well as the rides, then decide how much energy you have left for the evening. The provider’s duration is a planning guide, not a promise of a guided session or the park’s opening hours. If you are coming from your hotel, plan both journeys before setting off. This listing is an entrance ticket, and its current provider details say to meet at the attraction rather than use a hotel pickup. Check the final option when booking.
A bus outing from the hotel coast
Route 611 connects the Tombs of the Kings station and harbour with the Geroskipou coast and waterpark. This is useful when comparing a dedicated taxi with public transport from a seafront base. Use the waterpark stop and check the return timetable; the eight-hour label on an admission listing is not a transport schedule or a promise of opening hours. For a younger child, compare the children’s water-play area with the attractions they can actually use. Admission age bands and individual slide height rules answer different questions. Choose the day for the facilities that suit your group, rather than assuming a child ticket includes unrestricted access to every ride.
What to budget for the day
The park’s published gate prices, reviewed on 29 October 2026, are €36 for an adult and €20 for a child aged 3–11, with under-threes free. Two adults and two children in that band therefore total €112 before food, transport or extras. This is a gate-price planning example, not the price of every online ticket. Lockers are listed at €5. Bring your own towel, and budget for food inside: outside food and drink are not permitted under the park’s published rules. Compare the final online total for your party rather than assuming the headline adult price is the cost of the whole day.
Choose tickets and rides separately
Some slides require a minimum height of 1.20 m. A child’s admission category does not establish which rides they can use. Choose the day around the attractions suitable for your group, with time for breaks rather than expecting every person to follow the same circuit. Compare the operating date, ticket age bands and cancellation policy on the actual booking option. Direct-park terms and a reseller’s terms can differ; do not apply one seller’s refund promise to another. An eight-hour duration on a listing is not a guarantee of park opening hours or a timed guided activity.
