Snorkelling with shared sea scooters

Guided turtle-watching snorkelling with shared sea scooters

Around 3–4 hours

A shore-entry snorkelling outing with a guide, equipment and sea scooters shared between the group.

This is for confident swimmers, not a swimming lesson. Transport from the meeting point is listed; check hotel-transfer options separately. Read the age and health restrictions. Wild turtles may be seen, but sightings are never guaranteed.

A guided swim with photos and videos

Guided turtle-watching snorkelling with underwater videos

Around 4 hours

A guided shore-entry swim with snorkelling equipment, coastal stops and underwater photos and videos listed.

Make your own way to the meeting point near Baracas in Chloraka; transport onwards is included. The trip excludes non-swimmers. Confirm participation requirements and sea conditions; equipment and a guide do not remove the need to swim confidently.

This is an active swimming outing

Both selected trips enter the sea from shore and exclude non-swimmers. A flotation aid or sea scooter is not a substitute for swimming confidence. Read the individual age, mobility and health requirements and ask the operator about anything uncertain before booking. A boat cruise with optional swimming may suit a mixed group better.

Compare equipment and the experience

The sea-scooter option shares scooters among the group; it does not promise one device per person. The other option lists underwater photos and videos alongside guided snorkelling. Decide whether the equipment or simply a guided swim is the attraction, then compare what is actually supplied for your date.

Keep wildlife encounters respectful

Turtles are wild animals, so a successful booking does not guarantee a sighting. Give them space, follow your guide and do not touch or feed marine life. Choose the outing because you want time exploring the sea, with wildlife as a possibility rather than a promise.

Check the meeting point before the morning

Transport from a meeting point and collection from your hotel are different arrangements. Allow time to reach the confirmed location and ask how weather-related changes will be communicated. Bring the items the operator specifies and leave room in your day for a relaxed return rather than another tightly timed activity.
