Mayfair Hotel: plan your stay
Mayfair Hotel is worth comparing when children’s pool time and a separate sleeping space matter more than a beachfront address. It shares facilities with Mayfair Gardens, already covered in our hotel guides, but the two names should not be treated as the same room booking. Choose the accommodation first, then compare the meal plan.

Mayfair Hotel or Mayfair Gardens?
The operator presents the four-star Mayfair Hotel and three-star-plus Mayfair Gardens as two properties sharing one complex. That makes the Gardens a useful price comparison, but only after comparing the actual rooms and board basis. A photograph of the shared pool does not identify which building or sleeping arrangement you are buying. Keep the full hotel name and room category together when comparing offers, especially if two members of a family are making separate reservations.
A suite is the meaningful family upgrade
The Hotel’s one-bedroom suite has a separate bedroom and living room with sofa beds. That is a more useful distinction for a family than simply adding another bed to a double room: adults can retain living space after children go to sleep, depending on who sleeps where. Standard double or twin rooms accommodate a third guest on a rollaway. Suites list a mini fridge and tea-making facilities; do not book one expecting the full kitchen of a self-catering apartment.
Children’s facilities, and one adults-only room category
The shared facilities include children’s swimming and splash areas, a kids club advertised for ages four to twelve, mini discos and a teenage hangout. These make a hotel-based afternoon plausible without leaving the complex. The Superior Double is described as an adults-only top-floor room; that restriction belongs to the room category, not the whole hotel. For a school-holiday family stay, compare the family accommodation rather than assuming that a higher room label is automatically the better option.
Plan around an inland Kato Paphos address
Mayfair sits inland, around the Agapinoros side of Kato Paphos. The harbour and its waterfront restaurants are destinations to walk or travel to, rather than something directly outside the hotel. Combine the Archaeological Park and harbour into one outing, leaving a quieter hotel afternoon afterwards. For a short stay devoted to promenade walks every morning and evening, compare a harbour-side property before deciding that the shared resort facilities outweigh location.
Buy the meals you will use
An inclusive package makes most sense if lunches, swimming and early family evenings will revolve around the hotel. If you expect several full-day excursions and independent dinners, compare the package difference with those missed meals. Keep a beach outing separate from hotel pool time: Coral Bay is a journey north, not the beach beside this complex. Choose seasonal activity access for your actual dates; neither a pool photograph nor an indoor facility establishes winter water temperature.
