Mare Paphos: plan your stay
Mare Paphos, also listed under its former Atlantica Mare Village name, is a Kissonerga resort for a holiday with plenty of time at the property. Its pools, splash facilities and family accommodation make it worth comparing for a resort-led stay between central Paphos and Coral Bay.

A good fit for
Families who want a substantial pool-and-activity offering and will use the hotel for much of the day.
Worth weighing up
The cliffside coast is not the same as a broad sandy beach, and the published operating season does not make it a year-round resort.
The name and location need to match
This is the Paphos property at 39 Chrysoneras Avenue, not Mare Ayia Napa. Older booking addresses may retain Atlantica Mare Village in their web address. The Kissonerga location puts central Paphos and Coral Bay in different directions, so plan one main destination per outing rather than expecting either to be immediately outside.
Choose family space before a swim-up upgrade
The room range includes conventional doubles, sliding-door family rooms and one- or two-bedroom suites. Selected categories have swim-up access. Start with bedroom separation and the beds your party needs, then decide whether direct pool access adds enough value. A larger family may benefit more from two bedrooms than from a more expensive outlook.
Children’s facilities need an age match
The published offering includes splash facilities, clubs and a crèche for younger children. A broad family-friendly label does not tell you which sessions fit your child or whether advance booking and charges apply. If childcare is a deciding factor, establish the current age band and arrangements for that service before committing to a non-refundable room.
Treat the season as part of the choice
The operator describes opening from late March to late October. That makes Mare a different comparison from a hotel specifically offering a winter stay. For dates near the opening or closing period, use the current availability and facility schedule; do not assume all summer restaurants, clubs and pool services continue unchanged.
Keep some days at the resort
A harbour sightseeing day and a Coral Bay outing can sit around several pool days. If you plan long excursions every morning, compare whether you will use enough of the resort offering to justify it. For a Blue Lagoon cruise, distinguish a confirmed hotel-pickup package from a departure at Latchi that you must reach independently.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Compare the room, not just the hotel.
Confirm the Paphos property, room layout, seasonal opening and any children’s service essential to the booking. Swim-up access belongs to specific room categories.
