Leonardo Laura Beach & Splash Resort: plan your stay
Leonardo Laura Beach & Splash Resort makes most sense when pool days and children’s activities are a substantial part of the holiday. Its Chloraka location puts it between central Paphos and Coral Bay, with plenty of reasons to spend time inside the resort.

A good fit for
Families who want an on-site waterpark, organised activities and meals centred on the resort.
Worth weighing up
Slide restrictions and seasonal operation matter; a waterpark photograph does not mean every child can use every ride.
A Chloraka resort rather than a harbour hotel
Laura Beach is on the coastal side of Chloraka. Choose it because its facilities suit your party, then plan journeys to the harbour, Old Town or Coral Bay around that base. A Paphos hotel label covers a broad area, and the resort is not beside the central harbour attractions. Check the location of any evening meal or tour pickup before assuming you can simply walk from the lobby.
Check the waterpark against your children’s ages
Splash Waterpark has several types of slide, a wave pool and children’s activity areas. Individual rides have age, height and sometimes weight restrictions, so compare those rules with the children travelling before committing to a waterpark-led holiday. Some larger slides require more than a minimum height. The park also admits outside visitors, and weather can affect operation. This is a different attraction from Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark on the southern side of town.
Family rooms, suites and swim-up options
The accommodation range includes family rooms, interconnecting options, suites and selected swim-up categories. Some family layouts use a double sofa bed for children, while suites can provide a separate lounge. Those are meaningful differences for sleep and privacy. Check the bed configuration and exact occupancy of the rate offered. For a swim-up room, consider direct pool access carefully with younger children and confirm the category’s age rules.
What to check in the all-inclusive package
Buffet meals, bars and themed dining make eating at the resort convenient. Speciality restaurant visits can depend on the length of stay and require reservations; some extras, such as spa treatments or escape rooms, are separately charged. Executive Family Lounge access is also tied to eligible bookings rather than every room. Write down the few benefits you actually want and verify those against your rate before paying more for an upgrade.
Leave space for one different Paphos day
With so much swimming available at the hotel, an outing with a different focus may add more than another waterpark ticket. Consider a harbour and castle day, an Old Town meal or a boat excursion with suitable pickup. Avoid stacking a long tour onto the same day as an important restaurant reservation. Families with different energy levels may find that a short outing and a return to the pool work better than a full schedule.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Compare the room, not just the hotel.
Verify each child’s slide eligibility, waterpark dates, the room’s actual beds and any lounge entitlement. Check speciality dining reservations and chargeable activities separately from the all-inclusive headline.
