Louis Phaethon Beach: plan your stay

Louis Phaethon Beach is built around an active family holiday, with pools, seasonal water slides and entertainment giving you plenty to do at the resort. It is worth comparing when meals and activities in one place make the week easier.

A good fit for

Families who expect to spend several days enjoying resort pools, activities and included meals.

Worth weighing up

The waterpark is seasonal, and a family room does not automatically give everyone a separate bedroom.

The southern side of the Paphos coast

Louis Phaethon Beach is on the Geroskipou seafront, south-east of the harbour. It is a different base from Coral Bay or the Old Town, so choose it around the resort and this part of the coast. A harbour visit makes a good separate outing. Geroskipou village is inland, while the beach and waterpark area are coastal; check which one a recommended stop refers to before arranging transport.

Seasonal slides and younger swimmers

The hotel waterpark operates in the main summer period, advertised as May to October, with multiple slides and children’s water-play facilities. Slide participation rules apply, including age and height requirements, so check them for each child before booking. Younger children may use different areas from older siblings. This hotel waterpark is separate from Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark nearby; staying here does not automatically include admission to the other attraction.

Compare the beds in a family room

Double and twin rooms can use a sofa bed for an extra guest, while family options accommodate up to four. Room choices include inland and sea views. Look closely at how the additional beds are arranged and whether the room has the separation your family needs at night. Some connecting rooms and walk-in showers are available, but these require confirmation. A shower type alone is not evidence that a room meets specific accessibility needs.

Inclusive meals and organised activity

The all-inclusive setting suits days that revolve around the hotel, with children’s activities, sports and entertainment adding to the pool time. Spa services and selected extras can carry charges, so compare your actual package rather than assuming everything on the facilities list is covered. If members of your party are staying at another Louis hotel, do not assume they can use these facilities: visitor access needs its own permission.

Planning beyond the resort

Allow enough time at the hotel to enjoy what you have paid for, then choose outings that add a different experience. The harbour, castle and archaeological park can form a sightseeing day, while a boat trip changes the pace entirely. For cooler-month visits, check pool heating and the activity programme as well as slide dates. The indoor pool offers a separate swimming option, but its operation should be confirmed for your stay.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Compare the room, not just the hotel.

Check waterpark operation and each child’s slide eligibility, exact bed arrangements and any access requirements. Confirm your board inclusions and do not count on facilities at sister hotels being available.
