King’s Hotel: plan your stay
King’s Hotel is worth comparing when you want a straightforward base for going out in Paphos, rather than a resort to spend the whole week inside. Its Tombs of the Kings Road address puts restaurants and town journeys at the centre of the decision. Spend on a room that meets your needs, then keep room in the budget for the days beyond it.

A good fit for
Travellers who prioritise a town location, independent meals and a simple hotel with an outdoor pool.
Worth weighing up
This is a roadside hotel, not a beachfront resort. Room position matters if you are sensitive to traffic or evening activity.
A practical road location, rather than a seafront address
The hotel sits between the Kings Avenue Mall area and the Tombs of the Kings archaeological site. That makes it a useful starting point for separate outings in either direction. The road is part of everyday life here: allow for crossings when choosing somewhere to eat or finding a bus stop. Being on Tombs of the Kings Road does not mean the archaeological entrance is immediately outside.
Choose the room for the people sharing it
The current hotel listing includes single, twin, triple and quadruple categories. A room that sleeps four still means sharing one bedroom; it does not provide the separation of a two-bedroom apartment. That distinction matters more than a small nightly saving if children go to bed earlier than adults. For a couple spending most of the day out, a simpler room may be an entirely reasonable trade.
Pool time without planning a resort holiday
An outdoor pool and bar facilities give you somewhere to pause between outings. They do not establish a heated winter pool, entertainment schedule or all-inclusive package. Treat the pool as part of a mixed holiday: sightseeing first, time back at the hotel later. Compare breakfast in the actual rate, especially if you expect early starts or prefer eating in local cafés.
Keep the shortlist honest
Pyramos is a useful alternative for a more central Kato Paphos address; Axiothea answers a different brief in the Old Town. Kissos is another option around the Tombs of the Kings area. King’s makes sense when this road location suits your plans and you are comfortable with a modest hotel. It is a poor substitute for a larger resort if extensive facilities are the main reason for your trip.
