Families and couples who prefer self-catering near Polis beach to a full-service resort.

Worth weighing up

This is the Polis coast, not central Paphos; the maisonettes must not be confused with the operator’s separate luxury villas.

Family occupancy is the detail that matters

The operator publishes a maximum of four adults, or two adults and three children, for its maisonette accommodation. Those are different arrangements: the family capacity is not permission to book five adults. The published floor area is 60 square metres. Use the age and occupancy rules on your actual rate when booking, and establish where each member of the family will sleep before comparing the total with two hotel rooms.

Make use of the kitchenette and living space

The accommodation description includes a kitchenette with fridge, kettle and utensils, plus dining and seating space. That makes breakfast and uncomplicated meals part of the appeal, particularly when children eat at different times. It does not establish that every appliance you have at home is supplied. Air conditioning and a shower bathroom are also listed. If your plan depends on a particular cooking appliance or sleeping arrangement, ask one specific question before paying for a non-refundable rate.

A beach base with Latchi as a separate stop

The operator places the municipal beach within a short walk and describes Latchi as a short drive away. This suits days built around the nearby coast, followed by a separate harbour outing or boat departure. It does not put you beside Paphos harbour. Free on-site parking is advertised, which is useful if your wider plan includes inland villages and different trail starts as well as the beach.

Do not transfer villa facilities to a maisonette booking

Eliofos also markets luxury villas, but photographs and amenities for those properties do not automatically belong to the maisonettes. In particular, do not assume that a villa’s private pool is part of this booking. The maisonette description is centred on garden surroundings, self-catering and beach proximity. For a family whose holiday depends on a pool, compare a property explicitly offering the pool arrangement you want rather than filling the gap with an assumption.

When another property is the better fit

Aphrodite Beach offers a different coastal hotel experience, while Mariela is an apartment comparison in Polis town. Souli Beach is another option to weigh when you prefer a hotel rather than preparing meals. Eliofos is strongest when beach proximity and independent living are both useful to you. If your daily plan is swimming pools, organised activities and included meals, select a resort designed around those priorities instead.
