Casa Mespilea: plan your stay
Casa Mespilea offers a smaller, town-based way to stay in Paphos. Its restored townhouse, courtyard and individually named rooms suit a holiday built around local streets and meals, with the coast saved for deliberate outings.

A good fit for
Visitors who value Old Town surroundings, a small property and independent dining.
Worth weighing up
This is an inland town address; harbour evenings and beach days need their own travel plan.
What staying in the Old Town changes
Casa Mespilea is in the upper, older part of Paphos. It puts cafés, town streets and places to eat into the daily rhythm of your stay. The harbour and its archaeological park are in a different part of the city, lower down towards the sea. Plan an Old Town morning on its own terms, then allow time for the journey if you want to continue to the waterfront.
A townhouse with individual room choices
The property occupies a townhouse dating from 1890 and offers 14 themed rooms across the ground and first floors. Ground-floor options include studios and a quadruple room, while the first floor has double rooms. That variety is part of the appeal, but it also means the category matters. Check the floor, sleeping arrangement and bathroom layout of the room offered rather than relying on a photograph of a different room.
Courtyard dining at Chez Mamma
Chez Mamma Bistro is within the property, with a courtyard setting and a menu that includes international dishes. It can make an easy evening after a day out, while the Old Town gives you other dining choices. Confirm restaurant opening days and whether breakfast is included in your room rate. A room booking does not automatically reserve a courtyard table or include the meals you have seen advertised.
Arrival and parking need a little thought
Parking is around the hotel rather than a guaranteed private space attached to your room. Nearby options include the Municipal Market parking area and parking by Ayios Kendeas Church; check current signs, charges and restrictions when you arrive. If you have heavy luggage, arrange a suitable drop-off before setting off. Ask about the exact room access route if stairs or uneven surfaces would make your stay difficult.
A useful plan for a short stay
Keep your first afternoon in the Old Town: explore the surrounding streets, choose somewhere for dinner and leave the coast for the following day. Combine a harbour outing with the archaeological park if those are priorities, then return inland for the evening. For an organised excursion, confirm whether collection is from Casa Mespilea, a nearby meeting point or the coastal hotel strip. A general Paphos pickup label does not settle that detail.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Compare the room, not just the hotel.
Confirm your exact room and floor, arrival arrangements, breakfast basis and parking plan. For a courtyard meal on a particular evening, make a restaurant reservation separately.
