Avlida Hotel: plan your stay
Avlida is a larger hotel on Tombs of the Kings Road, close to the ancient site. It combines swimming and dining facilities with an avenue-side location that can work for sightseeing and trips towards the coast.

A good fit for
Families and couples who want hotel facilities with archaeology and the Tombs of the Kings area nearby.
Worth weighing up
The hotel is by a main road rather than directly on the beach. Check crossings and the room outlook when comparing it with coastal resorts.
Use the ancient site as your landmark
Avlida is opposite the Tombs of the Kings area, so an archaeology visit makes a natural local outing. The site is distinct from the mosaics near Paphos harbour. Give each its own time rather than assuming one ticket or one entrance covers both. The avenue’s shops and restaurants can fill the rest of a quieter day without adding another long journey.
Room size, beds and outlook
The room range includes standard, family and suite options with different outlooks. Inland, side-sea and sea-view categories should be compared carefully: a glimpse of the coast is not the same as a direct waterfront position. If a rate leaves allocation to the hotel, do not assume you can choose a particular view. Confirm the sleeping arrangement for additional adults or children.
Swimming and entertainment
Indoor and outdoor swimming facilities, children’s facilities and entertainment support a holiday with substantial hotel time. Ask which pools and activities operate during your stay. An indoor pool listing does not by itself establish heating or the water temperature in winter. If a particular facility is the main reason for booking, obtain current confirmation before choosing a non-refundable rate.
What an inclusive rate means for your week
Avlida offers several meal arrangements, including all-inclusive options. Compare the dining schedule with the excursions you intend to take. A long day out may mean using breakfast and dinner while missing the hotel lunch. Check which drinks, snacks and services are included, and separate those package terms from the facilities available to all guests.
Explore beyond the avenue
Plan a harbour day, then perhaps a separate Coral Bay outing or countryside tour. Look at the route to the coast before deciding to walk, particularly with children or limited mobility. For tour collection, use the exact hotel name and confirmed stop. Main-road convenience is helpful only when you know where to wait and which side of the road to use.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Compare the room, not just the hotel.
Confirm room category, view, additional beds, board terms and seasonal pool arrangements. Check any mobility needs against the actual route through the hotel and surrounding streets.
