Avanti Hotel or Avanti Holiday Village?
The names are easy to confuse. This guide covers Avanti Hotel, whose accommodation is based around hotel rooms. Avanti Holiday Village is a separate sister property with one-bedroom apartments and kitchenettes. If cooking facilities or a separate living room are essential, do not assume they come with an Avanti Hotel reservation. Match the full property name, map and room description before comparing a package or adding it to your trip.
A garden setting near the seafront
The hotel sits in landscaped grounds near Poseidonos Avenue, with the beach a short journey away rather than inside the hotel grounds. The harbour lies further along the waterfront. You can build a day around the southern coastal area without visiting the harbour every time, then make the castle and archaeological park a separate outing. Old Town restaurants and Coral Bay require a different travel plan again.
Family rooms and bunk-bed arrangements
Room choices include inland and pool or side-sea outlooks. Family occupancy can use bunk beds, and connecting rooms may be requested. Check which arrangement is actually being offered for your children’s ages; a request for connecting rooms is not the same as a confirmed connected category. If everyone sharing one room would make evenings awkward, compare the total cost with an apartment or a larger suite elsewhere.

If a children’s session is important to your plans, ask about age bands and registration rather than assuming that all activities run throughout the year.
A week with room to eat out
Start by deciding how often you want dinner at the hotel. Nearby dining and trips towards the harbour can make a flexible meal plan useful, while hotel meals may simplify evenings with younger children. Keep one day for the archaeological park and waterfront and choose a second outing that adds variety. The separate Aphrodite Waterpark can appeal to families, but it has its own admission and operating arrangements.
