Polis and Latchi, not central Paphos
The property lies on the coastal side of Polis, east of Latchi harbour. Think of Polis town for a meal or supplies and Latchi for a harbour outing or boat departure. The location makes more sense when these places form your holiday than when every excursion starts in Kato Paphos. A transfer advertised from Paphos should not be assumed to collect here. Choose a Latchi departure when comparing Blue Lagoon trips and arrange the journey to its meeting point.
Choose the right amount of private space
Akamanthea offers studios plus one- and two-bedroom apartments. Studios are open plan; one-bedroom options separate the bedroom and living space; two-bedroom options are more useful for larger families or friends sharing. Extra occupancy can involve sofa or folding beds. Compare who sleeps in the lounge before deciding how much usable shared space you will have. Paying for another bedroom can be more valuable than a superior label if two adults need different sleeping routines.
Kitchenettes and a pool give the day flexibility

For Akamas walking, choose a trail and starting point that match the party rather than treating the whole peninsula as one attraction. A car helps connect these outings, but it need not be used to turn every quiet afternoon into another cross-district drive.
Who should stay closer to the harbour instead?
If you want to walk out for a Latchi harbour dinner every evening, compare accommodation in Latchi itself. If you want the Old Town, Archaeological Park and Paphos waterfront on most days, stay in or around Kato Paphos. Akamanthea’s appeal is the northern coast as a holiday base. A split stay can work when both areas matter, avoiding repeated long return journeys and giving each side enough time to feel like a holiday.
