Secret Forest: plan your stay
Secret Forest is a retreat in Miliou, with wellness activities and a distinctive food offering at the centre of the stay. It is a deliberate alternative to a beach hotel: choose it when you want to spend time at the property rather than use it only as somewhere to sleep between sightseeing days.

A good fit for
Adults who want a retreat-style break and are comfortable with its specific dining concept.
Worth weighing up
The dairy-kosher, pescetarian menu and inland location will not suit every holiday or every dining preference.
Make the retreat the reason for travelling
The property’s Miliou setting puts it inland in the wider Paphos district. A holiday here works best with generous time at the retreat and selected outings, rather than a daily commute to the harbour. If your priority is beach access and independent restaurant evenings, a coastal hotel is a clearer fit.
Understand the food before choosing full board
The operator describes a dairy-kosher, pescetarian Mediterranean approach. That is a substantive part of the experience, not just a decorative label on a buffet. Read the dining concept before booking, particularly if your party expects meat-based meals or has dietary requirements. Full board is only good value if the food and the time spent at the retreat suit you.
Wellness facilities are not medical promises
Thermal sulphur-water facilities, a heated outdoor pool and activities such as yoga and meditation are part of the published offering. Treat these as leisure and wellbeing experiences, not evidence that a stay will treat a health condition. Compare which sessions, treatments and facilities are included in the exact package rather than assuming every listed activity is unlimited.
Keep outside plans light
Polis and the north coast can provide a change of scene, while a separate Paphos city day adds the harbour and archaeology. There is little reason to buy a retreat package and then schedule every day away from it. For a longer Cyprus holiday, splitting the stay between Miliou and a coastal base gives each part a clearer purpose.
