A good fit for
Couples and families seeking an apartment base with a pool and room to organise their own days.
Worth weighing up
Standard and superior units, floor levels and outlooks differ. Compare the actual apartment rather than the general property photographs.
Choose the unit, not just the property
Pagona offers studios and larger apartments, with standard and superior categories. Some listings distinguish ground-floor pool-view units from higher-floor options. A category name can therefore tell you about location as well as furnishing. Decide whether easy access, a balcony outlook or bedroom separation matters most, then match the booking to that priority.
An inland Kato Paphos address
Ikarou Street provides a base behind the waterfront rather than directly on it. Plan a first walk towards the harbour area to understand the route and nearby food options. Keep the return in mind during hot weather or after a long meal. The coastal location of Paphos as a whole should not be confused with beachfront access from an individual apartment.
Using the kitchenette well
Kitchen facilities make breakfasts, drinks and simple meals easier to organise around your own schedule. Check the cooking equipment and fridge capacity if you intend to prepare more than snacks. For a family, also confirm the sleeping arrangement in the lounge: a living area used as a bedroom may be less convenient for early-morning cooking or late-night conversation.
A pool afternoon without a big itinerary
The property has an outdoor pool, children’s pool and poolside food-and-drink facilities. You can leave a gap between sightseeing and dinner instead of filling the whole day. Ask about seasonal operating hours if you are visiting outside the main summer period. A pool photograph does not establish its temperature or the availability of every poolside service on your dates.
Compare the length of stay
Apartment rates can have minimum-stay restrictions for particular dates. If your search returns no room for a short break, try the actual length of holiday you intend before assuming the property is unavailable altogether. Keep cancellation terms in the comparison, especially if booking accommodation before flights. A slightly different arrival date can also change which apartment categories appear.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Compare the room, not just the hotel.
Check category, floor, outlook, kitchen equipment and any minimum-stay rule. Confirm the beds and total occupancy for everyone travelling.
