Imperial Island Resort by Louis Hotels: plan your stay
Imperial Island is the reworked former Louis Imperial Beach, opened under its new identity in 2026. It is a southern seafront resort for a hotel-led holiday, with different room layouts for couples and families. Older reviews and photographs of Louis Imperial Beach need to be read in that context.

A good fit for
Couples or families looking for a substantial seafront hotel with room categories suited to different party sizes.
Worth weighing up
The new name and refurbishment make old descriptions of Louis Imperial Beach an unreliable guide to the exact room you will receive.
Know which hotel you are booking
This is Imperial Island Resort in Paphos, the former Louis Imperial Beach. The change is more than a different spelling on a booking site: the Louis group announced its reopening in May 2026 after transformation. Use current room descriptions and recent property photographs, and distinguish them from reviews referring to the former hotel.
Pick the layout before the outlook
Superior Double or Twin rooms accommodate two with provision for a cot; Superior Family rooms use sliding doors and sofa beds for a party of up to four. A Two Bedroom Suite provides a different arrangement, with a double and twin beds. For older children, those separate bedrooms may be a more useful upgrade than changing an inland view to a sea view.
The couples category is a specific choice
The Suite Made for Two accommodates two and does not take a cot. That is a room-category restriction, not a reason to assume the entire hotel is adults-only. A mixed-age wedding group should choose accommodation for each household separately and agree where everyone will meet rather than expecting one room type to suit the whole group.
Use the southern waterfront as your starting point
The harbour is north-west of this hotel, while the waterpark sits further along the southern resort coast. Combine the harbour and mosaics in one outing; keep a waterpark day separate if that is a priority. The Old Town is inland and Coral Bay is another part of the coast, so neither belongs in a casual walk-out-from-reception plan.
Compare current packages, not old promises
Start your price comparison with the same dates, room layout and meal basis. Refurbishment can change restaurant concepts and category benefits, so a package remembered from a previous visit may no longer describe the current stay. Choose a room you will enjoy on a hotel day, then leave enough freedom for a meal or outing elsewhere.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Compare the room, not just the hotel.
Use the current Imperial Island room and package wording. Its published 2026 operation was seasonal; establish availability for your actual travel dates rather than assuming a year-round opening.
