Constantinou Bros Athena Royal Beach Hotel: plan your stay
Athena Royal Beach is an adults-only option on the southern Paphos waterfront. Its coastal grounds and room choices make it worth comparing when you want a hotel-focused stay with some promenade time and selected days out.

A good fit for
Adults who want a beachfront hotel with upgraded room options and time to enjoy the grounds.
Worth weighing up
Athena Royal and the neighbouring Athena Beach are different hotels, with different guest policies and room benefits.
Check the full hotel name
Athena Royal Beach is the adults-only property; Athena Beach is a separate family-friendly hotel. The shared brand and similar names can make search results confusing. Match the full name, location and room category on your confirmation. If friends are staying next door, check visitor and dining arrangements before planning shared pool days or meals inside either property.
A southern coastal base
The hotel is along the waterfront south of the central harbour, in the coastal hotel area. A promenade outing can be part of your day, but choose its length around the weather, your pace and the return journey. The Old Town and Coral Bay need separate plans. A coastal address also does not mean every part of the shoreline is a continuous sandy beach.
Compare room tiers carefully
Classic, superior and higher-category rooms and suites offer different combinations of space, view and privileges. Some categories include benefits such as a beach cabana or Elite Class services. Check the actual category against the benefit list rather than assuming that any sea-view upgrade includes everything. For a couple spending many afternoons at the hotel, the balcony outlook may matter more than extra indoor space.
Age and access details matter
The hotel’s published adult policy is for guests over 16; confirm eligibility for anyone near that threshold. Electric and manual wheelchairs are allowed, but mobility scooters have designated parking and are not permitted around the premises. If that affects your mobility, discuss the full route from the room to dining, pool and beach areas before booking. A general accessibility label cannot replace those details.
Build a holiday beyond the pool
Use shorter outings to add variety: a harbour evening, a mosaics visit or a different restaurant can fit around time at the hotel. For a longer boat or mountain trip, confirm collection and return times before choosing your dinner reservation. Compare board options with that schedule; an inclusive rate can still be convenient, but it should fit the meals you expect to use.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Compare the room, not just the hotel.
Verify the exact adult age rule, room view, Elite or cabana entitlement and any mobility arrangements. Check speciality dining reservations and charges on the chosen package.
